Pennsylvania Court Reinstates HRT Lawsuit

Talk about a revolving door: A woman who won a $1.5 million verdict against HRT had her lawsuit dismissed when a Pennsylvania trial judge said she exceeded the statute of limitations in filing her lawsuit.

The judge was overruled because a study of the Women's Health Initiative in 2002 connected the dots between HRT and breast cancer.

This opens the door for 1,500 HRT cases filed in Philadelphia that are currently on appeal.
